Acceptable Use Policy
The Service makes calls to real people on your behalf. This policy sets out what it may and may not be used for, so that every call is lawful, honest, and respectful of the person who answers.
01Permitted use
The Service is for legitimate business-to-business and business-to-consumer sales and appointment-setting calls, made to leads you have the right to contact, using messaging you have approved.
02You must not use the Service to
- Call numbers you do not have consent or another lawful basis to contact.
- Call numbers on applicable do-not-call registries or on your suppression list.
- Impersonate a real person, another business, or a government body.
- Deny being an AI or instruct the agent to hide that it is one.
- Make false, misleading, or deceptive claims about products, prices, or terms.
- Collect payment card details, passwords, or other sensitive credentials during calls.
- Pressure, harass, or threaten call recipients, or continue after a clear request to stop.
- Promote illegal products or services, or fraudulent schemes.
- Target people based on protected characteristics or in ways that are discriminatory.
- Attempt to disable disclosure, suppression, opt-out, or human handoff controls.
03Playbook content
Approved talking points must be accurate and must not include claims your business cannot support. Topics such as pricing, contract terms, or legal questions should be set to escalate to a person unless you have approved specific wording.
04Monitoring and enforcement
We may review call outcomes, opt-out rates, and complaints to protect call recipients and the Service. Where use breaches this policy, we may pause calling, require changes to a campaign, or suspend the account.
05Reporting misuse
If you believe the Service has been used to call you improperly, tell us through the form on our Contact page and include the date, time, and number that received the call.
